Project / Finance Assistant – Granger Bay (Cape Town)

Salary: commensurable with qualification and experience

 

The primary task of this position is to assist with preparing and maintaining accurate and complete records and accounts for the Sutherland group while providing an efficient and effective general administrative support role to the Operations team.

Key Responsibilities of the position

  • Invoicing and distribution of debtors’ statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of fee proposals.
  • Prepare monthly debtors’ reports.
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations.
  • Capture and update information for the BBBEE scorecard.
  • Check timesheets on Caseware for compliance.
  • Prepare contract documentation for review.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Finance (Accounting or Cost and management accounting).
  • 0 – 3 years’ relevant office admin experience.
  • Intermediate level competency in MS Office required.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail a must have.
  • Working knowledge of Pastel and Caseware would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic team
